English 12 students are currently reading The Catcher in the Rye and keeping a reading journal in Google Classroom, so they should make sure to have their charged Chromebooks in class every day..
Students usually have a small nightly homework assignment, either reading from the text or a brief written response.
For their unit assessment, students have the choice of traditional unit test (January 26 at 8am) or a writing portfolio (submitted via Classroom by 1/29).

Students in AP Literature are currently participating in a dramatic reading of Ibsen's A Doll House, utilizing props and costumes during class.
In addition, AP students should be working on their independent reading journals, which are due before the end of the semester in January.
